What Competence Costs
Registered Occupational Therapist · Certified Coach · 30 Years of Experience · Ontario
The women who find their way here are not struggling in the way most people imagine. They are competent, capable, and holding everything together. They have spent years building careers that matter to them. They lead teams, manage people, and are often the most reliable person in every room they walk into. At home they carry the mental load, the caregiving, the invisible work that never makes it onto a job description.
And underneath all of it, something is off.
The exhaustion that doesn't go away after a good night's sleep. The inability to say no without guilt. The creeping sense that the career they built, the leadership identity they've grown into, the life they've designed, none of it feels like it fully belongs to them anymore. This is not a personal failing. It is what happens when high-achieving women spend years building for everyone else's definition of success. And it has a structural solution

about me
I rebuilt my own structure first.
I am a Registered Occupational Therapist, Coach, and Health and Wellbeing Leader with over 30 years of leadership in Occupational Health, Wellness, and Disability Management. But the reason I do this work is personal.
There was a point in my life where I was holding a demanding executive career, leading high-performing teams, navigating a complex multigenerational household, and carrying the mental load of everyone who depended on me. I was doing all of it competently, without complaint. And I was quietly losing myself in the process.
What found my way back was the same discipline I had spent three decades practicing professionally. Occupational Therapy. The science of how people function. And once I rebuilt my own structure as a professional, as a leader, and as a person, I made it my life's work to help others do the same.
Today I work with high-achieving women and organizations across Canada bringing clinical rigor, lived experience, and 30 years of practice to work that most people keep surface-level.
